The IBA Research Lab Climate Change and Social Housing offers an opportunity for inter- and transdisciplinary exchange for all participants.
Due to COVID-19 the organizers had to adapt the programme to the circumstances:
Online Sessions
the research projects of the participants will be presented and put up for discussion among peers and faculty members. The aim is to reflect, refine and deepen one’s own work and research approach with peers and internationally renowned scholars from different disciplines and universities. Online sessions cover three topics, the invited scholars prepare short thematic lectures. The sessions are open for the public to participate.
Field Trip
A field trip will give opportunity to meet various participative approaches to climate adaptation in social housing and to exchange with local stakeholders and initiatives.
Film documentary
A film documentary is tracing and recording projects dedicated to climate adaptation and mitigation in social housing in Vienna.
Panel Discussion
First findings of the Research Lab will discussed with experts in a public event with regard to their applicability in Vienna.
